Keep on Keeping On

Starting year two of Spark People. In the first year I got my "spark" back. Have included a minimum of 10 minutes a day exercise EVERY DAY, quit drinking alcohol, lost 30 lbs & have met wonderful spark friends. Looking forward to another spark filled year of goodness.

5. avg 10,000 steps/day

8. Eat more veggies, fruit, lean protein, carbs, sugar

11. Go back through 1-10 and focus on those I can do better on.

My Program:
I teach two strength classes. Using my elliptical at home to get in my cardio mintues and try to get to zumba when I can.
Got a cup for Christmas that holds 3 cups of water so I drink 3 times/day
Got a fitbit for Christmas and learning how to get 10k steps/day

Personal Information:
I'm married with 2 boys and 2 girls (all in college as of this fall) + 2 dogs. We live in Ohio. I work at a university and also teach a couple of classes and am on board of our local YMCA. Got on SP thanks to a friend from church.

Thank you for the Goodie! I too have been hovering in and out of 170-ville and am still there with my clothes on emoticon . I see we have the same amount to lose and are both at the midway point. I feel like I have gotten off the "easy" stuff and now it will be harder. I say "easy" tongue in cheek - I lost it, regained 15# and just lost that 15# again since August. I was doing really well before Christmas and now I am having a difficult time with the weather and not getting out! I am in a slump, that is for sure. So - I will help you and you can help me....Let's keep in touch!! emoticon
