About 8 years ago I looked like this at a family reunion in Washington. I was about 175 lbs here.

Now I'm getting serious. I lost about 40 pounds 10 years ago and got to 171. I was recently up to 215 and got tired of seeing the innertube around my middle. Hopefully, with this website, I'll be able to figure out why I've not been successful at losing weight for the past 4 years even though I think I've been doing the right things.

My Goals:
I want to lose 35 lbs, get my BP down to a normal range, and increase bone density by doing weigh and cardio training by my next birthday.

My Program:
I workout about 6 days/week, at lest an hour per day. At least 3 days/week I do the Body Pump class at Golds Gym (weights and cardio - I push it and usually am lifting the heaviest weights in the class). The other days, I ride my mountain bike on trails (usually go for a 1200 - 2000 cal burn), or hit the stationary bike or eliptical at the gym for 600-1000 cals.

Mike - Nice loss and you are our BIGGEST LOSER this week and your cycling may take you more miles, but I know you are still working your butt off. I am not running up and down mountain trails - yet. emoticon
