Jan 2009: I've been working on changing my habits and focusing on weight loss for a year: lots of good changes, not enough actual loss so far

Update 4/28: I've lost 20 pounds!

Update 10/30 : 40 pounds gone

Update 2/7/10: 50 pounds down! (46 since joining here)

6/27/10: 60 now

1/10/11: Last six months have been a struggle-- I've maintained the 60 pounds, tho. Given everything I've been dealing with, I'm very happy to be still more-or-less on track through it all. I do need to update photos tho-- my face looks very different now!

12/30/11: After regaining almost 20 pounds, mostly triggered by a big move and new jobs in our new city in August, I am settling in and getting back on track.

5/22/13: Still 20 pounds up, and recently added some more. I have not reverted entirely to old ways, but obviously too much sloppiness. Signed up for a challenge to help me focus on this all summer.

1/6/2015: Several injuries in 2014 sidelined me, and my scale says I am right back where I started, although I don't feel, look, or move like I did back then.

So glad we're rotating mini teams on SEALS....gives me the encouragement to look at sparkpages more closely. You have done a great job on the weight loss/healthy living fron and persisted over a bunch of years (me too)....Here's to working y our program. WooHoo.

May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks
May your heart be as light as a song
May each day bring you bright
Happy hours that stay with you all the year long.

Stopping by to share a quote I received in my inbox this morning ....

"Your hardest times often lead to your greatest moments."

When you're going through a challenging situation, believe in yourself, and stay persistent. Sometimes it may not be fun, but when you push through, you will find that you'll come out a smarter and stronger person than when you started!

Have a great Sunday.
