Here I am...on the road again...

I've been a member of SparkPeople for a number of years now. I lost weight initially but ended up gaining it back after experiencing some medical problems with my thyroid and having hip/foot surgery. Some time has passed and I'm feeling well enough to try another attempt at getting my life back on track. I'm glad to be on the weightloss road again, heading towards success!

My long term goal is to lose 65lbs and be able to keep it off for good!

My short term goal is to eat healthy, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and get some exercise!

Right now I am focusing on eating small frequent meals and getting into a routine of exercising.

I like arts & crafts, music, watching movies, nature, animals, and traveling. I'm very open minded and I welcome anyone looking for a buddy!

Hey check out my page and the last "group" that i joined. It's a challenge starting March 1st thru August 31st. Those are what really motivate me.. and I figure if you joined too at least we can keep track of each other and motivate! I've totally hit a slump - I haven't been to the gym in over a week and a half and I fell like such a flab. However reading over some of those posts in that challenge I got pretty motivated to get started! I have a "date" next Saturday and I don't want to have to be concerned w/ what I wear.. I know that results don't happen overnight, but it'd be nice to be a little more comfortable. (I'm at work and I'm extremely bored so I figured I'd write!) Hope all is well! - Tracy
