New Year! New Start!!!

My last intro text had to do with 2009. It's now 2012. I'm post breast cancer. My life has changed dramatically. And fitness & health are still my downfall and still the area of my life I feel most encouraged to change. I've lost "some" weight thru my cancer journey but still have quite aways to go. I welcome you to join me & share our journeys together...let us lighten each other's load...

Weight Goal: 270...this goal represents the weight I was at 22 years ago when my oldest son was born.

Walk the Rock n Roll Half Marathon in VB.

Hike the Grand Canyon with Project Athena.



My Program:
Water Aerobics 3 times a week.

Thanks Mo! I did the 5% Challenge for Fall. I was on the Cats Team. For the Winter 5% Challenge I got to choose a team. I chose the Awesome A Team. It is an 8 week challenge. Each week you do a challenge. One week might be tracking your food, next time may be watching sodium. Something different each week. Every week exercise can be done everyday if you want. Everything you do earns points for the team. It is a pretty good challenge. I really need to get back on the new one. It starts sometime in January. The first thing you will do is weigh and put it in under the weekly weigh in. Great support on the teams and fun.

Its a little chilly here, but 70's by the weekend!
Christmas shopping was done in October! I'm on top of things this year emoticon
As for a gift for myself, I made sure I gave my hubby a very specific list emoticon and I know he got me exactly what I wanted, so that will be my treat.

I have so lost my way. I'm trying to get back on track right now, but not doing so great. I know staying away from Spark and my friends here is probably not the best thing to do, but sometimes I start to feel like this is an obligation that I get on here and do stuff, and that can stress me out. I sign on once a week to weigh in, and that's been about it. On the good side, I've not gained the past two weeks. I've only lost about a lb each week, but it's still a loss. :) Yesterday was cooking day, so hoping to be back on track with eating now. Getting ready to head out for a walk this morning, so I'm trying. :) I'll be back on Spark, I think I just needed a break. Thanks for checking in Mo. :)
