Hello my name is Julia, I'm 34 years old and I am excited for what this year is going to bring!!! I have been on my journey for quite some time now and with each year I am happy with my results!!! When I started this journey I was 310 lbs, my biggest weight ever... I just had my son and was so depressed and I had a very low self-esteem... One day it hit me that if I wanted to be around for my son, some major changes needed to take place... And that's when my weight loss journey started... My son is now 6 years old and even with the health problems I have I am healthier and stronger than I was in my 20's!!! I have lost 62 lbs thus far and have 42 more lbs to get at my goal!!! Lots of changes have taken place, good changes!!! Like I am getting married this year!!! I have more confidence in myself than I have ever had and I am stronger and healthier because of habits I have broken and new ones I have developed!!! I still have a ways to go but I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!! I have a very supportive church family, fiance, son, daughter, and friends that are cheering me on and encouraging me along this journey!!! So here's to a "New year, & a new me!!!

Goals for 2015:
1~ continue to eat healthy and recommended calorie range
2~Drink plenty of water 3~Lose 43 lbs to be at my goal weight
4~Be in a size 12-14 or smaller
5~walk as much as possible
6~Continue growing closer to Jesus
7~stay away from stressful people and/or situations
8~exercise daily 9~strength train to build up them muscles 10~continue portion control
11~ earlier bedtime
Goals for 2013:
My goal is to start out losing 50 lbs, so I can be active with my son. (39 lbs lost out of the 50!)

Another goal is to fit into that sexy black dress that most women who lose weight want to fit into. lol (goal met on December 2013)

1-Eating healthy
2-portion control
3-exercising daily
4-strength training
5-drinking plenty of water 6-doing daily devotions
8-reading the Bible.
9-listening to positive music
10-relaxation techniques
11-meditating on the Word
