2016's new Goal

Hi my name is Sandy and I have struggled with my weight all of my life. Yo-yoing anywhere between a size 12 and 22. I have had many ups and downs with sparkpeople. I start off 2015 at 232 pounds my heaviest to date. My goal was to lose 88 pounds. I finished off 2015 at 2013 pounds. I had gotten down to 208 but the holidays hit and I gained some.

Because of health related issues (blood sugars and cholesterol) my dotor has put me on qsymia which should help me reach my goal. ...

I start off 2015 at 232 pounds my heaviest to date. My goal was to lose 88 pounds. I finished off 2015 at 2013 pounds. I had gotten down to 208 but the holidays hit and I gained some.

Because of health related issues (blood sugars and cholesterol) my dotor has put me on qsymia which should help me reach my goal. My goal is to eat 1200 - 1400 calories a day, exercise 6 days a week.

I still have a long way to go to reach my goal weight in 2016 and but I am sure I can do it with focus and alot of exercise.

My kids are my life and I want to make sure that I get to enjoy many years with them and potential grandchildren. So now is the time to get it together and stay motivated and focused on my goal.

My 2016 goals are to participate in a couple 5K's, drink more water, lose 50 pounds this year, set a good example for my children with eating and exercise, and stay on my spiritual journey remembering daily how to live a better life and treating others how I would like to be treated.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 50 pound in 2016.

My Program:
Cardio 6 times a week and muscle toning three times a week.

Personal Information:
I am the mom to two wonderful children. They are my motivation to lose. I would also like to feel good about my size again and finally be out of Lane Bryant.

Other Information:
I am the vice-president to my kids Elementary PTA, mom of a girl scout and boy scout and love to read and draw.

Best laid plans, thought it was supposed to be the nicest day of the week so had thought we would get out in the yard for raking etc. Hail and bad rains left very soggy ground so the water was great for the growing plants but not so much for anything else. So out for a walk this evening instead. VERY SLOW progress on the weight loss but it is going down not up so I guess that 300 calorie drop by SP is helping but if it goes any lower I don't think I will be on board as I know in the long run I won't stick with calories lower than I currently am. Anyway, just behind you on your onederland but at this rate probably 3 more months away emoticon
Work is crazy right now but hoping that things settle down sooner than later as later appears to be the stronger possibility.
Enjoy your time off, did I say I am jealous emoticon emoticon May you see lots of wildlife.

Wasn't sure which day the vacation started, hoping that it's soon if not this week and that you have a great time.
Holiday was a good one, visiting with family and fairly healthy. Took the left over dessert to work to get it out of the house. Will have more treats in the coming weeks with family visiting and meals that are not the norm, baked goods for breakfast etc. Always easier to control these things when company gone, but I wouldn't miss their visiting for the world.
Hope the weather is great for your travels and time away from work.
