I am a home inspector and mom to 4 Great Kids! Like so many other Mom's (and Dad's) I often forget to take care of myself. I'd joined SP in spring of 2008 and had a great time losing weight and getting fit. I even kept things up after the holidays, which I thought would have been a great obstacle. The obstacle was actually after the holidays. The short days. The struggle with school. Pretty soon I could tell the weight was coming back as I had less and less time to exercise. Pretty soon I wasn't exercising At All! It's now 8 years later and I'm down 35( update! Was scrolling through my posts and I'm just I've 50 LBS less than when I first began SP!) pounds from my heaviest weight but an injury has me in the position of having to lose weight AND FAST because I need surgery to correct it. I'm here hoping that Spark will help me keep on track and get me where I need to be.

My Name is Sylvia. I have been married for 24 years to a great guy. We have 4 Great Kids. One is now in College (still can't believe it!), one in HS and and we are home schooling 2 beautiful daughters .The Dr's said I would Never have kids! I guess they forgot that there Is a God!! :-)

    4) read some article.... (you make points reading these too)
    5) make yourself to exercise like walking, jogging, or whatever you would like to
    6) most of all :: have fun and enjoy yourself

    If there is anything that I can do to help, give me a holler. If I do not know the answer, I will find it. Our leaders are really great and help when you need it too. So don't hesitate to ask. That is why we are here ...I'm a single Mom of 3 grown sons......

    Get you kids involved with keeping mom active! Get up and move 10 minutes of every hour and that will help them keep more attentive also. I am a retired homeschool mom. They are all grown now and repeating the process!
