Let's say it together: Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels...Repeat... Hello, I love to cook & eat! I love learning CrossFit and am learning to run, but am very weak to snacks (even healthy ones) and I just love good food way too much!! I am a former vegan and when I added dairy & white flour back into my diet a few years ago, I gained about 25 pounds! Ugh! After working in a pharmacy for 20 years, I have a passion for nutrition and disease prevention. I have been a vegetarian and excitotoxin free for nearly 10 years. My weight is not why I became a veg. I had fibromyalgia and migraine headaches. I now have neither. Seven years ago I moved to southern Oregon from southern California to be closer to family and have a whole new life and have a better attitude. I have two little boys now, too! Having a baby at 44 hasn't done much for my figure either! I have learned that the key to good nutrition and disease prevention is: Eating Right! My Goals:
I want to get fit! I know I can do it, because I have before. I am disappointed in myself for letting my shape get out of control again.


My Program:
I eat healthy, but I need to watch my portion sizes and amounts of protein, fats & carbs I'm eating. I need to exercise daily!! Exercise is what makes the weight come off for me! It's tough in the winter because I just want to stay inside, but once I get to the gym, I feel better.

I love to read cookbooks and cook. I like to challenge myself and alter standard recipes to make them vegan. Another frequent challenge is to see if my husband will eat it and like it.
