It's my life, it's now or never...
My name is Lisa, and I'm at the beginning of my weight loss journey. Again. I'm a married 47 yr old with a daughter 27 and 2 sons, 21 and 11. I also work full time, third shift as a labor and delivery nurse during the week, and nights for Bayada. I have decided that despite having the deck stacked against me, it's time to take care of myself. Get more sleep, make better food choices, and cut out that fast food! My hobbies include photography and scrapbooking. I also breed Havanese dogs and compete in confirmation dog shows.

My Goals:
I had 4 overweigh, diabetic grandparents, and my mother followed in those footsteps. I watched as she took a few more units of insulin so she could eat cake, and I also watched her lie in an ICU bed when her heart attack almost killed her. My goal is to excape this family history. I'm 5/3 so my goal is to obtain a healthy weight, maintain a lowfat diet, and MOVE!
My Program:
I am following weight watchers on my own. I've been on it before and find it to be a healthy, easy to stick to program. I am a point counter and really have to keep up with a food journal to stay motivated and on track.

Other Information:
I like scary movies, but not slashers. I love to read just about anything. Oh, and my friends call me their "techno-geek" because I love electronics and I'm always fixing the problems at work.
