Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! Amelia is now in ICU recovering from the Transplant surgery! She did wonderful! she is awake and chewing on a wet washcloth. She is pink and now more comfortable on pain medications. We were glad that the breathing tube was removed right after she was transferred to ICU! She is doing Great.
Plus she has already had a wet diaper and over 500ml of urine in her Foley catheter! The kidney is working wonderful!

Thank you so much for your Thoughts and prayers for my Princess Amelia. She will be getting her Kidney transplant this Tuesday morning at about 08:00. The surgery for Amelia will be 3-4 hours long. The donor will start her surgery at 05:00, which will also be 3 hours long. The surgery for the Donor will be at the University of Utah hospital. Amelia’s surgery will be at Primary Children’s hospital. The buildings are connected.
I am very excited and nervous for the surgery. I know that she needs this surgery and it is a great sacrifice for the donor. But anytime Amelia needs surgery I get very nervous.
Amelia will be in the hospital for 3 week-ish. I will be updating daily what is going on with her on her carepage, (see my sparkpage) and I will update in a blog on my sparkpage when I can.

I am sorry that you have hit a plateau. When I hit my last plateau nothing would work to get me going again. I exercised and ate the correct number of calories, but I was still stuck. I did a lot of research and I learned that I needed to keep track of my protein, fiber, calcium and sodium intake. (You can add all of these in your nutrition custom menu.)
When I did this research I learned that if one does not get enough protein, fiber and calcium, they will hit a plateau easier and more often.
I also learned from personal experience that If I eat to much sodium a day, then I hold a bunch of water. If I eat to much sodium frequently then I will hit a plateau. My weight loss is more consistent if I can keep my sodium level down.
Make sure you put everything in your nutritional tracker and add the Protein, fiber, calcium and sodium to your tracker. Try very hard to keep those levels in the suggested areas. This works great for me. After all of the research I did, I was glad that I found something.
