Mom on a Mission

I am 52 and have been raised with fried chicken, mashed potatoes and very large portions. I have raised my children with this philosophy also. I have just recently discovered Dr. Oz and his healthy lifestyle changes. I began watching what I eat and exercising on Dec.8, 2009 and have lost 8 pounds since then. But can't seem to go any further. I babysit during the day and with the winter weather I am unable to go outdoors for walks. I ride a stationary bike for up to 2 hours a day vigorously and ...

I have just recently discovered Dr. Oz and his healthy lifestyle changes. I began watching what I eat and exercising on Dec.8, 2009 and have lost 8 pounds since then. But can't seem to go any further. I babysit during the day and with the winter weather I am unable to go outdoors for walks. I ride a stationary bike for up to 2 hours a day vigorously and am watching what I eat, keeping it under 1500 calories per day, and am losing so slowly. It's hard not to be discouraged. But I will continue on.

on how hard it will be to break your old habits. Having a
light at the end of the tunnel will make your efforts seem
worthwhile and the reward waiting for you will keep you
