I have struggled with my weight ever since I had my first daughter in 2000. I gained 80 lbs while I was pregnant which tipped the scale to 205 lbs. I worked very hard to drop the weight and lost all 80 lbs within 8 months!! THEN, I got pregnant again!! I told myself(and my husband) that I worked so hard to lose the weight that I WILL NOT gain it back, but sure enough I did ... exactly 80 lbs! After my 2nd was born I worked hard again and got back down to my normal weight of about 130 but ...

I told myself(and my husband) that I worked so hard to lose the weight that I WILL NOT gain it back, but sure enough I did ... exactly 80 lbs! After my 2nd was born I worked hard again and got back down to my normal weight of about 130 but couldn't maintain it. My weight fluctuated drastically throughout the years. I'd gain 30 then lose 20, then gain 50 and lose 30. I love to work out and I love to eat healthy ... I just don't always do it. Anyways, a little over a year ago I got pregnant with my 3rd daughter. I was at a good weight in the beginning and I was committed to working out at least 3 days a week all throughout my pregnancy ... but guess what ... I still gained the magical 80 lbs bringing me to over 200 once again. This time around I am in my 30's rather than my 20's and it has been much more difficult to lose the weight. I have been stuck at 170 for about 10 months now and it's time to go full fledged and do something about it!!! That's why I'm here! :)

My Goals:
I'd like to get down to my healthy weight of 129 and stick to an exercise routine and diet that works for me! I am a compulsive over-eater and it needs to stop!

My Program:
I am going to commit to a minimum of 30 min. of cardio, 5 days a week. I am also going to track everything I eat every day and keep my calorie count at about 1200 a day. I am also trying to do mostly Vegan meals, which is hard, but very rewarding for me for multiple personal reasons.

Other Information:

Thanks for adding me as your friend. I read your story and so feel you! My first 3 pregnancies were fine: gained either 25 or 30 and lost 20 at birth. It was my 4th that did me in: gained almost 60 lbs and didn't lose very much at birth. My baby is now 9 and I"m still struggling. I"ve been up and down so many times. I know what to do and how to do it, but this time around, my head isn't in it. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey. Maybe we can motivate each other!!
