A New Me

I am on a quest to change the world! Not really, but I do want to do my part to help people. In October 2012, I will be doing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure 60 mile walk. I am on a quest to raise the $2300 I need to raise to be able to walk. I have so many ideas and am just hoping that between fundraisers and people donating that I will be able to reach my goal. I am still trying to get in shape. I have been exercising regularly and trying to eat healthier! The holidays are always a rough time for eating well, especially with Halloween. I am trying to form better eating habits! I'm just taking it one day at a time!

I was going to the gym, but stopped in the beginning of the summer. I'll be working on different SparkPeople challenges to keep motivated.

The good thing is your back and that you DID do karate and the shred! Keep moving forward and keep smiling-I know in the middle of my workout when I'm starting to really feel that "I just want to be done with this" I look into the mirror and give myself a huge cheesy grin. Ok, maybe the other people around me think I have issues but it gets me to keep going. Whatever works, right?!
