Make it work!

I'm trying, just like the rest of you, to lose weight and keep it off. I'll do well for a few months, and then I celebrate those successes for a another few months until I'm back where I started. It's easier to make excuses than it is to "make it work" but I"m tired of "making a comeback" - I'm ready to peel the layers back and give it my all!

I'm starting with tracking my calories and adding exercise back into my life.

My Goals:
I want to love my body, to feel good naked, to not have to stretch out my knit shirts so they don't cling to my love handles, to wear a bikini (maybe not). I want to walk into any store and know that their clothes will fit me! I want to wear a thick belt under my bustline and look cute doing it. I want to model for my own photographs, and love what I see. Oh...I want to be haelthy and fit, too!

My Program:
I'm trying to add more exercize into my life, and pay attention to how many calories I consume.The weight watchers point system has worked for me in the past, and this time I just have to stick with it!

Other Information:
1st 5K: October 2007, Denver Scream Scram - 38 minutes

2nd 5K: Oct.4 2008, Race for the Cure, OKC - 33 minutes

1st Denver Half Marathon: October 19 2008 - 2 hours 43 minutes

2nd Half Marathon: Fort Worth Cowtown Feb. 2009
2 hours 27 mins.
