Still working on the journey

I'm still on the journey. After a busy summer I thought things would get easier. NOT! The daily challenges are still there. I have basically been the same since May but I am trying to view it as well I can maintain. But I don't want to maintain I want to move forward in this journey, I honestly have at least another 60 lbs to go so I cannot give up. I will plug away at the life style changes and take those baby steps till I reach my goal

My Goals:
I want to get healthy. Over the last 5 months I have lost 30 lbs. I have recently seen a nutritionist who sent me to this site, saying it would be helpful. I am not computer literate so I get lost sometimes. But I need to add exercising to my diet program as I have been the same for about 3 weeks. I have about 70 more pounds to go.

My Program:
Changed eating habits. Also getting more sleep at night. Drinking water and now adding movement.

I go by MomNitz but my name is Cheryl. I live in Orange, CA. I will be 60 in April (don't know how that happened : 0 I have 2 grandbabies (2 & 9 months that make me want to live to see them grow up) momnitz@teddyspeaks.com

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistake, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space."

"You have failed only when you stop trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure."

What I learned from a snowman (Unknown author)

It's okay if you're a little bottom heavy.
Hold your ground, even when the heat is on.
Wearing white is always appropriate.
Winter is the best of the four seasons.
It takes a few extra rolls to make a good midsection.
There's nothing better than a foul weather friend.
The key to life is to be a jolly, happy soul.
It's not the size of the carrot, but the placement that counts.
We're all made up of mostly water.
You know you've made it when they write a song about you.
Accessorize! Accessorize! Accessorize!
Avoid yellow snow.
Don't get too much sun.
It's embarrassing when you can't look down and see your feet.
It's fun to hang out in your front yard.
Always put your best foot forward.
There's no stopping you once you're on a roll.
