My Goals:

My goals going forward are:

1. Put my family first - make sure I'm spending time being productive for us (not daydreaming about the future, snacking or being a TV zombie)

2. Treat my body with respect and care

My Program:
(updated goal 2 on Jan. 3, 2012)
All my nutrition & fitness goals are based on reading "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. Amazing book.

The way I will meet these goals:
(goal 1)
1. Make to-do lists for each day and week so that I can accomplish household and personal chores more effectively
2. Do more prep work for meals the night before, so that I have more quality time with kids after work
3. Do more household chores during week, so that I am not stressed on the weekends

(goal 2)
1. No sugar (will allow Stevia in limited quantities)
2. No processed carbs (flour, vegetables not in their natural state)
3. Don't worry about calorie conts or carb/protein/fat ratio's - just eat intuitively while refraining from sugar and all processed carbs.
4. Excercise as it fits in with my time & energy levels.

Personal Information:
I am a 30something mother to 3 kids and step-mother to 1 more.

I am happily married to a great guy.

I also work full-time oustide the home.

I love to run and lift weights.

Other Information:
The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.

    Thanks for your comment on my blog, how's your running coming along? I just started week 6 this morning. After W5R3 I thought today would be easy... I was wrong!

    To enter your exercise calories. Go to my fitness find the change my fitness goal button. Go to the bottom of the page.

    There will be the question "How many calories will you burn?" or something like this. In the box type in the number calories you burn exercising in a week.

    One word of caution everytime you go into change my fitness goal this box is set to zero.
