Dont' dream it. Live it. Each day is a new beginning. Be good to yourself.

Hello – Here is my story in a nutshell: I’ve been on Weight Watchers since 2007 and lost 110 lbs by doing the food plan and working out 5-7 days a week. I hit a plateau and hadn’t been able to get off of it, which is when I found SP in 2010. I’m still working on it. I started running (C25K) in June 2010 and ran my first 5K in October 2010. I completed a 10K and numerous 5K’s since then. I have also finished my first half marathon - the USAF Half Marathon in September 2011 - not a ...
I have also finished my first half marathon - the USAF Half Marathon in September 2011 - not a fantastic time but I was vertical and it was before the sweep. I have since then found out my Dad's cancer is back, my son is struggling at school and my home was robbed of anything of any value that wasn't bolted down. I am a stress eater and have now gained back 15 of my 110 lbs lost. I was hoping to get my body to jump off this plateau but I think I jumped the wrong way. I have approximately 50 lbs to lose to get to goal. Healthy is the bottom line. I'm just trying to ensure that I'm here for my son for as long as possible in the healthiest body possible and setting an example that he can also live by. Live life. No regrets.

March 2013 - I'm back. Surgery. Life got in the way. Gained 40 lbs. Starting here now and will be trying to get my groove back. Hello again!

**Help my son grow up healthy and strong.

My Program:
I'm taking this one day at a time. I didn't gain all this weight overnight and it won't all come off overnight. It's hard to be patient but I have to try. I lose focus if I don't have a tangible goal so I'm scheduling a series of 5K races to keep myself going. Post surgery I am starting over with no endurance. C25K I'll be giving you another shot in a few weeks.

well lets see, only 37 weeks and it's AFM2012 time again.
Glad to hear you are coming! Working on being a little more organized this year. Sorry to hear you've had rough time last year, no sure if helps, but we have a whole new year to start over. You take care.

Wow, looking at your page, you really do rock :-) Love the before and after pics! Congrats on your first double digit run! I *totally* understand your nerves that you have, with my "first" being in May, the HM is a distance that I NEVER thought I'd do, you're prepared, I can tell ;-) You'll be fine!!

Just a update, if you have a chance pickup copy of "Runner's World" (August) article on first 1/2 marathon. They are saying at five weeks out your long run would only be "Six" miles!!

(I did a 1/2 marathon at Wright Patt, in July, that covers most of the course you will be running, it is nice and flat. So if you are worry about hills, not a problem. I do alot of my training on base,
only thing is there is not much cover, so pray for cloudy day)
