My celebrity inspiration is Ali Vincent from The Biggest Loser. I chose her, because our body types are similar. I won't ever be a willowy supermodel, but I can be strong and sculpted! :)

2011 is My Year to Do It!

I just purchased and have began reading The Spark. I'm absolutely loving the new tools I'm gaining from it. #1 on that list, is keeping a positive attitude. No more, "This is too hard", "I can't do it", or "Why even bother?". Now I'm telling myself, "I am so strong, and only getting stronger", "It's worth it", and "I am an athlete!".
Because if I'm strong, worthy, and an athlete, then making healthy choices are so much easier.

1.) Exercise 30 minutes a day for 100 consecutive days
2.) Lose 60 lbs in 2011
3.) Properly train for and complete a local half-marathon (walking)

1.) Exercising at least 30 minutes a day
2.) Drinking more water
3.) Going to be earlier (10 pm at the latest!)
4.) Reducing stress

I'm 36, have been married for 11 years, and have two young sons.

Other Information:
I love walking! I also love to read, so I'm stocking up on audio books to help keep me on the treadmill and off of the couch. :)

Have a GREAT weekend. Plan some "active" fun. Go to the park, hit the pool or beach, take a hike, kayak, play a sport, get out the badminton set... just move your body!
