my life....my journey

Hi I'm Michelle,29 years old and joined spark people in January 2011, at the time my heighest weight was 297,and I felt like crap all the time. I blamed it on working night shift, but after a holiday retreat in the mountains where I got so out of breath hiking I figured it was time to make a change not only for myself but for my children too. It has been a hard journey but so absolutely worth it. Currently I have lost 122 pounds and my oldest daughter has lost 65 pounds.

Thanks! I have been wheat free for 6 months now, the first 2-3 weeks were the hardest because I craved bread, pasta, and potatoes! But now I could care less, but if I do want a sandwich I make bread from flax seed and for pizza I use cauliflower for the crust, love cauliflower "mashed potatoes" too! Good luck with your journey!

You are doing awesome. I saw your page when I was searching Wheat Belly. I just started following his plan a week ago. I was anxious to hear how you were doing on it and if you had any hints.
