Mommy Me

I have lots of little ones and the challenge I have faced is coming from a size 4, slim young single woman, to a 260 pound, plus sized mother at my highest weight. Add to that the challenge that we want as many kids as God sends us and they are about 1-1/2 years apart, and that's me. Not much time to lose weight in between, you really can't drag your feet if you want to!

Not much time to lose weight in between, you really can't drag your feet if you want to!

I started sparkpeople before I was pregnant with my sixth child who was born in December of 2008. I lost all her weight plus a little extra so I knew Sparkpeople worked for me! The good thing is that after having more babies, any additional weight I put on I've lost through Sparkpeople, so I know I can do this if I really stick to it. 5 months after baby is born I always seem to slack off, but this time around having an email buddy and working on solid bootcamps with actual schedules seems to get me ordered properly!

I would like to get to 160 pounds, which would put me in a good, healthy range for a mother-to-be or nursing. I will see as I get there, maybe lose more? I used to be 115 pounds and a slim size 4/6. I don't want to get back to that, I just want to be healthy and in good shape without a whole load of extra weight. Once I reach my goal of 160, I will probably figure out my ideal weight.

Keeping tabs on my calories (finally, I can see what I've been eating, ouch!), exercising and strength, trying to do everything sparkpeople suggests!

I hope your knee is getting better. I have avoided the Fire 45 for 2 days so I got back on track with today's HIIT 25. It felt good! I worked out hard yesterday but did everything I could find to do in order to not have to kick box for 45 minutes. lol
