I first started this page about a year ago saying that I my husband and I had been TTC for about a year and wanted to lose weight before an upcoming fertility appointment because I dreaded the idea of hearing them say that my weight was to blame for our infertility. Well, we never made it to that appointment because we found out we were expecting our first baby a few days before the appointment!

So here I am again. Our little girl is 3 months old today and it is time for this mommy ...

So here I am again. Our little girl is 3 months old today and it is time for this mommy to get in better shape if I am ever going to have the energy and long-term health to keep up with this little monkey... and a more vain goal of not wanting my daughter to remember me like this; "morbidly obese." I don't want my weight to stop me from enjoying time with my daughter in all of her adventured through life. I'm RE-commiting to a healthier lifestyle with better food choices (and better portions) and a much more active lifestyle.

My Goals:
- To fit more comfortably into my pre-pregnancy clothes... and then to shrink out of them!
- To stick with it this time and not get discouraged or give up when I over-indulge or have a lazy day.





My Program:
Do something active every day and make healthy food choices and the rest will follow!

Personal Information:
I'm from the capital area of Canada. I'm a teacher, wife, sister, daughter, auntie, and new mommy!

Losing weight and becoming healthier will positively affect all of my life roles, but I am ultimately motivated by daughter and wanting to be the fun and healthy mom she deserves.

Other Information:
During the summer I have a slightly easier time staying active. I like to walk, swim, and ride my bike.

Winter has struck, though, and I'm finding it very hard to get out of the house unless absolutely necessary.... and DH is harder to motivate to... which doesn't help me. We're working on this together!

Your little Angel is beautiful!!! Deciding to join SP again was the best start to your getting healthier journey. You have an AWESOME motivation. When
you find yourself making unhealthy choices just hold that little one and remind yourself you want to be there for her first date, her wedding, your Grandchildren, etc..... Not just be there, but HEALTHY!! emoticon

Thank you for the blog support. My february and the next several months will be busy but I honestly do better when I am busy. If I have too much wiggle room(like in January), I tend to abuse the freedom and get lazy. I think I will do much better the next couple of months.
