My life for the last several years has been a series of intense & transformative moments. The most wonderful, to the most devastating. Underneath it all, I have been blessed with immense opportunities for soul expansion.

Yet another opportunity - or lesson really is the way I treat myself. Sugar has been a crutch, on which I lean when life feels too intensely. Needless to say, I've been eating a lot of sugar these days. After giving birth to my first child, my daughter, in August 2011 - the weight has slowly and steadily trickled on.

Presently - I feel weighted down ~ as if covered over. I am feeling more and more as though it is the time to creep out from underneath. I want how I treat myself and what I put into my body to be a steady habit that is healthy. I don't want the circumstances of my life to dictate my eating/exercising habits anymore. Enough. Time for a new beginning.

My Goals:
Goals hmmmm......

-walk outside regularly (with the dogs)
-stretch/meditate in the morning
-eliminate refined sugars
-dance with my daughter several times a week.

My Program:
I really like what I've been reading about the Paleo Diet. I'll most likely going to be doing this to start with modifications that include Quinoa & Beans. :)

Exercise daily - walking, swimming, whatever!

Personal Information:
Living in Northern NJ after being elsewhere for a long time.

Part time Occupational Therapist with the NYC Dept of Ed. and Full time Mom.

Very crunchy!!! (home birth, non-vax, energy work, food as medicine, etc).
