I have two children and divorced within the last year. I'd lost weight but then gained it back when chocolate again became my best friend. Now it's not about weight loss, but about being able to enjoy being active with my kids and role-modeling healthy behavior for them.

My Goals:
I'm starting small. My first goals are: 1. Start drinking 8 glasses of water a day 2. Stop drinking soda every day 3. Log my food 4. Walk at least 30 minutes every other day
My Program:
Try to find small opportunities to get up and move. Little things like going to the bathroom farthest from my office - it all adds up. Find ways to move that include the kids. It's much more fun to dance with the kids than to exercise by myself. And I don't find myself in conflict with trying to spend time with them and meet my fitness goals. And the kids certainly don't let me forget about evening dance time!
