Wow! I'm excited to be a part of Sparkpeople. I know I need the community and a way to constantly keep check on myself. My lowest comfortable adult weight is in the 140's, but if I do not have to want to work at it at all, I'll hover right at the 150 mark. My heaviest weight ever was at 205 pounds and I can't even fathom that number and me. I most recently started my job of releasing energy to the universe at 177.6 which is the lowest ever of me trying to stay at goal. My challenge is not ...
Wow! I'm excited to be a part of Sparkpeople. I know I need the community and a way to constantly keep check on myself. My lowest comfortable adult weight is in the 140's, but if I do not have to want to work at it at all, I'll hover right at the 150 mark. My heaviest weight ever was at 205 pounds and I can't even fathom that number and me. I most recently started my job of releasing energy to the universe at 177.6 which is the lowest ever of me trying to stay at goal. My challenge is not getting into the weight range I need to be in, it is staying there. I'm getting to old to keep doing this over and over, so at least I have allowed myself to not get so far over goal as I did before... 205, 195, 183, and now 177. I will succeed and I will do this, but I need to be willing to make the 160 mark my number to gain control rather than picking up so much energy from the universe that I am 37% OVER what is a reasonable weight for me.

My Goals:
My goal is to eat correctly so I can get to and maintain a good weight for me in the 140's. My goal is to eat nonprocessed food more and to limit the amount of processed food I consume.

My Program:
I will eat at least 4 meals a day and eat protein with at least 3 of them. I will exercise at least 4 days per week and break up my routine as to stress my muscles once every 2-3 weeks at least.

Personal Information:
Originally from Ohio, I settled in Florida almost 30 years ago. I met my wonderful husband here, and have a daughter and a son and a daughter-in-love! My husband and I have fallen in love with retired greyhounds and have our second one at this time.

Other Information:
Weight maintenance has been a lifelong goal. I now believe that I need to release energy to the universe so I can get to and maintain my best weight for me. I also found out I have system candida. Now I realize that my body can not process sugar and gluten.

Thank you for encouraging me on my blog today! 18 months ago the doctor presented me with two options: either to try lifestyle change, which he said we had to try first, or to stay medicated to regulate my levels. At the age of 25, I did not want to be medicated indefinitely especially for a problem I created! I considered that a non-option, so I did what was needed to make it work.

I do think I am very lucky to have a doctor that insisted on trying lifestyle change first. I think many doctors would just write the prescription.
