3rd times a charm!

I tried this page once when I was 18. I lost 50 lbs and felt the best of my life! I was down to 200lbs,which may sound big but I carry that weight very well! I had a baby girl 2 years ago at age 22 and gained more than I had lost,73lbs! So about a year ago I decided to try this again but I start Medical Assisting school and my workouts were derailed once again. At this point I am unemployed and a stay at home mommy who needs to feel good about herself! I honestly believe if I loose some ...

My Goals:
I would like to lose 40 lbs in 1 year. Thats about 3 to 4 lbs per month. I don't know if its possible but I know im going to try my damndest to make it happen! I am ready!

My Program:
Mon,Tues,Thursday:Walk around the apartment complex 3xWalk up and down 2 flights of stairs 3x.=30minutes
Wednesday,Saturday: At home various strength exercise=30minutes
6-8 glasses of water per day.
Eating better,no soda!

Personal Information:
Pasadena,TX.
Texas born and bred. Love it here!

Other Information:
My daughter and my Husband are my life. I would do anything for them and am so happy I have them.

I hope you have a great weekend! Is it hard for you on weekends? It's sometimes hard for me to stick to my normal routine( watching calorie intake and exercise), but this weekend I will count my calories and I hope you will to. :)

Hi, your story sounds very similar to mine. I too just started Monday and love it. Although I had my last baby 6 years ago, I was 260 lbs after she was born and couldn't seem to get the weight off. I have lost some over the years with hard work and lots of exercise, but now I need motivation to get the last 30 or more off. Hopefully we can be an inspiration to each other and please contact me anytime. I am here if you are having a rough day or just to chat....

Hello and welcome to Spark People! This is such an awesome site. It is filled with wonderful, supportive people and lots of great information, resources, and tools. Since joining SP I've already lost 71 pounds. But more important I have gained healthy habits to make that loss permanent.
