Ine's Dreams

I am a 51 year old mother of 3 young men. I am a para professional at an elementary school and have gone back to school to get my teaching certificate. I will graduate in December of 2014 and am very excited about what God's plans may be at that point. I am trying to lose weight and have recently been "hexed" by my sister (LJCannon) into walking 5K marathons and joining Spark People.

Hi Maxynne! I have to apologize because I am feeling in a bit of a funk and don't have much spark in me today. It's a combination of things and although I am not having a great day I am not too worried because I know this very wise woman who always reminds me "this too shall pass". (By the way, teacher, have you noticed yet that I am the queen of run on sentences.) Lol! Oh I am so happy it is school break too, maybe I can chill out a bit. I hope you get to as well, despite all that homework. I do hope you can write a blog, I always enjoy your blogs! How is the wogging going?

As far as my promises go, I did send out the invites but I still have not read the spark chapter. I also did not eat well at work because I never had time to eat (a common occurrence). I had a very emotionally draining night (trying to keep very intoxicated people safe and still is not fun) and was starving when I left so I stopped and ate Macdonalds on my way home at midnight, not the best plan. TOM is in town too and that is certainly not helping. I am trying to get the house in order for Easter dinner (with very little motivation). Tomorrow I have baseball practice followed by a soccer game followed by dropping a kid off at a birthday party (out of the way) and then heading to work. I don't even know if I'll have time to squeeze in lunch but I will have to make it work.

My promise for tomorrow us to find a way to eat a decent lunch.

I also promise to try to relax and enjoy the kids events (without thinking of all the things I need to do)

I promise to eat dinner at work and if I can't, I promise to not resort to fast food.

Have a wonderful tomorrow!

Tomorrow I promise to finish the invites.

Tomorrow I promise to eat healthy at work.

Hi Maxynne! How was your day? I hope it was not as long as yesterday. Awesome job defeating the "Old You"! You rock! I am not surprised at all honestly! You have made so many changes all in the right direction- you have never looked back! I am a proud friend! emoticon emoticon

Thanks for the sentiments on the thank you cards. My mom trained me in the importance of these and now I am doing that for my boys. Unfortunately, it is a dying act and I personally find that to be an awful truth! It's sort of a pet peeve. It really stirs my pot when people send a photo with a pre-printed thank you on it. Ugh! Why bother! I know out of all my friends I am the only one who makes my kids open each card first so I can write my list of who bought what. Cards to me are very important, all kinds. They are worth the extra effort in my opinion. Sorry I'll get off my soap box now!

Also, thank you so much for the goodie! My dad is the best! My mom too and my husbands family come through for us often. We are very blessed! It seriously takes a village to raise these kids and we are lucky enough to have just that!

Today I did get to the gym and got my butt kicked in spin class! I also tracked and ate within my range, though not 100% healthy. I did not get to that darn bathroom. I will save it for Friday. I did have a productive day getting random needed things done plus getting to visit with my brother and niece. Also the kids dyed their eggs tonight which is always a fun (messy) production. And I cooked a healthy dinner!

Tomorrow I promise to finish the invites for my son's birthday party (the last of my birthday season thank goodness)

Tomorrow I promise to eat healthy at work.

Tomorrow I promise to get to bed by 1am at the latest!

Have a wonderful Wednesday my friend! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi my friend! How was your Monday? I hope your week started off well! I had a great day and was able to meet all of my promises (with 1 substitution). It was so beautiful out this morning I just couldn't bring myself to go to the gym, so I walked the neighborhood instead. Then I ran a bunch of necessary errands and finished the thank you cards. He just has to sign them and off they go. Next year he should be able to write his own like his brothers! Yay! Tonight was my oldest's 1st baseball game of the season. They lost but they did very well and had fun! The coach seems great and I think it will be a fun season. Spring is always busy with 3 kids in 3 different sports. Thank goodness for Grandpa!!

Tomorrow I promise to get to the gym for spin class.

Tomorrow I promise to track and eat healthy.

Tomorrow I promise to clean my bathroom (least favorite chore).

Have a terrific Tuesday!
