Hi!!! Thanks for commenting on my blog!!! I will write another blog describing what paleo is, because others have asked too, it basically is eating like the cavemen did, with no processed foods. I am doing the Nike Women's Half Marathon in October, I am looking forward to it!!!!:-)
Our weekend was BUSY! Saturday was at Joe's packing up his living room and bedroom to move over here. Joe is about 1 box away from having his own episode on Hoarders! But he was great - going through stuff and finally tossing. I'm not kidding - he had boxes of hamburger helper from 2008. They had time to change to design on the box twice in those 4 years!
Sunday he was laying tarpaper on the roof of the garage and I was unloading the trailer of his stuff figuring out what we are keeping and what was going to a garage sale. His furniture is from his college days so it was old, mismatched, and pretty bad. But that became fun. We have this one room in the front of the house that is wired for tv and stuff and we've used as a storage room. So now that we had his living room stuff - I had to clean that out. I turned it into a hunting room. His big overstuffed sofa and chair (dehaired now but still needing a thorough cleaning) my lodge rug, his gun cabinet, 1970s side table that was just funky enough that with some paint and stain I could make look more funky, a huge coffee table that he'd made for his mom when he was in high school (I restained it) and then all his mounted antlers. He loves it. And I took all the loose antlers he had and ran them over the foyer entryway. We have this weird 'shelf' built in under an arch. So I put all the antlers up there and ran white lights underneight and then let the shadows go up onto the arched ceiling. Super cool.
I did lose 2 pounds last week so that is great. But I'm still not in any kind of formal exercise. With all the other stuff I'm doing, I'm burning a lot of calories, just not in the traditional way.
As for the BF - talking is good.
Oh - and I got the brochures done. Tomorrow I print them and write a cover letter and send them on their way. And then hope something pans out.
