My new motto: I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done.

I did it! Today I walked my first 5K EVER! My new motto, "I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done." This is what kept me going. I never dreamed I would be able to do this. Without my group of family and friends supporting me and believing in me I do not think I would have even tried. Today I became an overcomer because someone believed in me and I began to believe in myself. They encouraged me. Here are some of the things they told me.

They told me to:

Without my group of family and friends supporting me and believing in me I do not think I would have even tried. Today I became an overcomer because someone believed in me and I began to believe in myself. They encouraged me. Here are some of the things they told me.

* take it slow and start doing what I can as much as I can
* move and be active through out the day
*not be so hard on myself if I miss a day
*make healthy choices
* just work up to it...that I can do this

At first I didn't think I could go a mile but I did. Then I thought I would aim for 2 miles. Today I walked a 5K. My next goal is to add another mile and start training to do a 5K walking and running combo. I am not competing with anyone. My goal is to finish. I would like to improve my time but I think that will come as I do this more and more. The main focus is to just do it! Walk or run, fast or slow, I am going to move. No stress and no pressure to beat the clock. I am doing this for me. I am doing this for my health. I am doing this because I now believe in myself and know that I can do what I set my mind to do. My motto kept me going the distance. It will stay with me each time I do anything. I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done.

My Goals:
*To lose 100 lbs. by June of 2015.

*To develop relationships.

*To log my food and water intake on Spark.

* To log my exercise on the Spark tracker.

* Keep my blood pressure down and work at staying stress free

* To stay positive and look for the good in life.

*To build muscle and burn fat.



My Program:
For Weight:

1)Drink 64 oz. of water per day, 1 diet Rite per day only.

2) Eat Clean and track food to know if I am getting the right types of food.

3)Exercise every day by moving some way, yoga, or walking. Top priority is to have FUN!

4)Log exercise in tracker and change up type of exercises done. Keep it FUN and active.

5) Keep blood pressure down and stress level low

6) Breath and stretch: DDP Yoga Y'all!



Personal Information:
I love God, my family, and others. I have a heart/passion for missionaries, widows and orphans, and the homeless. I want to see our world become a better place by doing what I can each day to make it better in any way I can.

Other Information:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I love to encourage others, pray, walk/run, and read. Most of all I love to spend time with my family. My prayer for you is that God will bless you in all you do and He will show Himself to you in an awesome way. My God can do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think. He is a BIG GOD.

Thanks for the friend add and right back at ya! I like to keep the emphasis on positive. It is so easy to be blown off course and fall into The Pit of Despair. Being positive helps me pick myself up, dust myself off and find my way back to the journey path to success. Glad my blog about my new positive goals resonated with you.
