****GOALS FOR 2015 ****** emoticon

This is it ... the year I get this done ... I'm giving myself 12 months to hit my long term goal of entering the "HEALTHY BMI RANGE" ... Thats a total of 36 lbs or 3lbs per month .... completely realistic & doable ... now to just buckle down & get it done!! So that next year, at this time my goal will be to be in MAINTENANCE ... I think I owe it to myself to dedicate 1 year of time to meet some goals: ...

MONTH & WHAT DID I ACCOMPLISH TOWARDS MY GOALS?

JANUARY 2015
~~ 1/7/15 - I'm starting the Advocare 24 Day "All In Challenge" that will take me through the end of Jan. Hoping to hit my short term goal .... I'll update Jan. 31st!! ~~

~~1/31/15~~ Finished the Advocare 24 Day "All In Challenge" My overall goal for the month was a 3lb loss, I did one better with a 4lb loss!! I was hoping for 5lbs because that would allow me to accomplish my Short Term Goal. My weight actually dipped down to that 5lb mark and flirted with me for a day but than back up.. I'm ok with that, for now. I know I can do it, I can see that number and I WILL get there in February! emoticon

My over all stats are:

*Total weight loss = 4lbs
*Total inches lost = 4.75"
*My goal was to have a 85% success rate on the Advocare 24 Day Challenge = I had 83% success rate
*My goal was to avg. 5 cardio/strength workouts per week = I averaged 3.25
*My goal was to get 7 hrs of sleep per night, 85% of the month = I averaged 64% (a work in progress!)
*My goal was to track all my nutrition and find my avg daily calorie deficit = for Jan. my avg daily calorie deficit was "315" ... goal for February is to have a daily avg deficit of 315 and greater....

It also dawned on me that in 24 days I had ZERO pop, alcohol, sugar (with the exception of 2 bites of a cinnamon roll and 1 lindor ball ha ha) , I almost completely cut out unhealthy fats & refined sugar and white flour. During the cleanse phase I had zero dairy, (yes I surprised myself, life can go on without cheese!!) and I had maybe 4 servings of something fried,and I drank almost a gallon of water each and everyday!!....

Not bad for 24 days.. emoticon

bottom line...
I'm feeling better in my own skin....
I can do it,,it was hard but not impossible..... emoticon

January = I manged to journal, blog or post everyday.

*Keep in contact & make a point to hang out with friends & family more emoticon
January= I did keep in contact or hang out with most everyone, still room for improvement!

*Plan date nights with my hubby emoticon
January= Ummm I feel horrible about this,,epic fail! Not even one date night happened!

*Read & study the Bible everyday emoticon
January= I did accomplish this goal...I definitely need this in my life,,every day!

*Tackle some home/garden projects emoticon
January=Not so much..BUT on the upside I have plans and ideas in my head just have to put them in motion...work in progress!

*Go on some ADVENTURES!! emoticon
January=Pretty quite month,,no adventures,,no traveling to speak of, we are making some plans for February. I'm starting to get cabin fever!

*Introduce my grandbabies to all Montana has to offer..camping..fishing...hiki

January= We actually took care of the lil' darlings for a long weekend. A LOT of work ha ha you forget how much is involved in the 24 hour care of little ones,,,life revolves around eating,,,pooping,,sleeping and a little playtime,,,than ya start the whole process over,,and over and over ha ha emoticon But we had such a good time they are such a joy, our relationships are growing closer and I love seeing the world through their eyes,,the learning, excitement and just the wonderment of everything around them! emoticon The upside of being a grammy is you definitely have way more patience and you don't sweat the small stuff,,the downside is your 50 year old body doesn't have the energy like your 20 year old body did!! But I guess that's why I'm SPARKIN' so I can keep up with life! emoticon

*Train for and complete a 10K ( and get a better time than the last one!! ) emoticon
January= No training whatsoever! UUGGHH gotta get something going!

I think it actually sounds like a FUN YEAR!! emoticon

Its good you scheduled your tickets :0) There are some good shows coming up!

My oldest is doing a mini production (only 2 shows) of the Magic Tree House Dinosaurs before Dark at the beginning of May. They both plan to audition for Alice in Wonderland so we will see what happens there!

You will be happy to know that Saturday night I sat on the couch with a glass of wine and watched my two DVR episodes of American Idol that I missed last week, lol, it was pretty nice! My newest plan is to have Me Monday on the 3rd Monday of each month and invite girlfriends who are available to meet for appetizers, go for a hike, listen to music...whatever we want. And if no one can go I will read a book and have a glass of wine or hike alone or whatever. I'm excited about it.
