Starting over....

Wow, taking care of myself is a journey. It is not a linear process At. All. It's hard work, and hard thinking. But I refuse to give up. No matter how many how many times I fall, get dirt in my mouth, and skin my knees, I'm still getting up and trying again.

Welcome to The Step Diet Team! I had no internet for 2.5 weeks and am waaaayyyyyyy behind; so this is a belated but very warm welcome!

The Step Diet is a safe, sane, logical way to progress from where you are, to where you want to go via baby steps, i.e. reaching 10,000 steps a day or more, but only increasing daily walking by 3-5mins per week to do so. Brenda Willis did; she lost 140+ lbs on The Step Diet, and has kept it off 7+ years. She had been overweight her entire adult life, and always on a diet, prior to The Step Diet. True Lifestyle Change! April our founding team leader did a great job of setting up all the informational threads for the team, the whole program is listed in the threads; there is also a book you can order from Amazon, "The Step Diet"; I haven't been able to find it in secondary (used) book markets but a couple team members have. However the threads April set up contain the info as well. Welcome! Carol
