Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. hi there! I saw your post on a message board...We have similar weight loss goals. I have two children 3.5 yr old girl and 15 mo boy. I stay at home with my kids and work on weekends as a medical social worker. I am ready to work hard and be fit for myself.

I noticed the goals to run! Have you heard of the couch to 5k? I did that last April and ran a 5 K in June, July and a triple race in 24 hours in Aug and then my second 1/2 marathon Nov 2010. Right now, I'm enjoying more cross training.
