hello! My name is Molly and I am looking to loose some weight and become toned once again! I havent been "healthy" for a few years now and I truly do miss being in shape. I used to be a college athlete and pretty much would do anything to be back into that shape, or at least look like it once again!

Fitness Minutes: 15,607

My Goals:
As of right now - my current goal is to eat healthy, work out and then start thinking about some better goals. I have a 5K run (3.1 miles) I want to TRY on Thanksgiving morning... but I dont want to do it alone. I hope to find a friend at home to come do it with me, even though I wont be able to run all of it! Other than that, I really would like to be able to compete (swimming ) again. I am going to start looking into a Masters program and find swim meets to compete in. My goal would be to go to Masters Nationals in 2010.

My Program:
Every day I drink 8+ cups of water (about 72 oz). I measure almost all of my food. I plan all my meals (usually). I write down EVERYTHING I eat so I can track it on Spark later. I also try to work out for 2 hours for five times a week (usually ends up to be 3). For my work out I do one hour or a little more of swimming, 30 minutes of upper body lifting and ab work, then 30 minutes jogging or biking!

Personal Information:
I am from Omaha, Nebraska and I was just married in September. I am currently taking a break from my Masters but plan on either continuing that or going for another degree. My major is in graphic design and photography. I LOVE to cook, give gifts, work out, organize, drink coffee and wine, go to wineries, watch football, and read.

Other Information:
I really dont care for scary movies or even movies in general... i feel there is so much going on in the world - why should i just plop myself down infront of the TV.. Unless I am tired. :)

    Thanksgiving Blessings

    T - Is for the Tons of Blessings that I receive each day.

    H - Stands for these Hands that fold, when I begin to pray.

    A - Means all the Awesome powers our Lord has from above.

    N - Stands for His Never ending patience and His Love.

    K - Is for the Kindness and forgiveness He has shown.

    S - Stands for the Sweetest gift of love we've ever known.

    G - Means the Amazing Grace that God bestowed on me.

    I - Says I can't imagine, without His love, just where I'd be.

    V - Is for (Victory in Jesus), just like that song of old.

    I - Means I'll do my best, to lead lost sheep into His fold.

    N - Is for the nails driven through our Savior's hands.

    G - Stands for God's Greatest Gift, His Son's life for mortal man.

    emoticon Hi Molly, I hope you are having a fine day. Just read this and thought it was good, so I wanted to share it with my spark friends.

    “A lesson from the lawn.”

    Imagine if a blade of grass decided it had had enough. It was done with having its head snipped off every weekend and its seeds – its future – cut off in their prime. Who could blame it?

    Yet, what does that ol’ blade of grass do? It doesn’t say: “I give up! I’m getting nowhere!” It just keeps on growing. It continually takes in the energy from the sunlight and converts carbon dioxide from the air into food to make more leaves and more seeds.

    A blade of grass is resilient. We too, can learn to be as resilient as the grass. We may be cut down on a regular basis, yet our strength is in standing up, dusting ourselves off, and starting all over again. Even when grass is covered in concrete, it finds a way to grow up through the cracks.

    And, so must we.

    We need to take a “leaf” out of the grass’ book. Connect with our own resilience and keep on going. And with God's help and grace we will make it!
