I'm a 22 y/o Materials Engineering and Chinese Language student currently in my fifth year of college. Why I'm Here: I've wanted to lose weight since I was in middle school. However, in college I gained the freshman 15...and the sophomore 15...and the junior 15....and was working on the senior 15 this year until this February! I started off weighing 170lb, and for someone of my height and frame (I'm only 5'2" and small boned) that is just too much! I'm ready to change and so far this website has been a great tool to help me along the way. I'm doing this just for me, so I can look at pictures of me and not feel ashamed. I also want to be in shape and healthy. My Program:
Calorie Counting: Consume ~ 1300 per day Burn ~ 450 per day Cardio 4-5 times a week, 1 to 1.5 hours each time Pilates EVERY day...I love it! I don't want to sound like an infomercial...but I just bought Turbo Jam and I think it's pretty fun for a work out, plus it makes me do some serious sweating. As for eating, I just really try not to have anything that will tempt me in my cupboard...I just don't buy it! And I measure all my servings so I can be aware of my portion control.
