**1/11/11: I'm FINALLY getting back on track! After being sedentary for 14 months, I'm ready to get back in the groove of having a healthy lifestyle - full of activity/exercising & eating right! Here we go...!
**1/25/10: Baby #3 arrived! Our beautiful new daughter was born 10/09. Now that she is here, it's time to get back on track!
**2/25/09: Well, we are expecting number 3! So weight-loss goals (but not health goals) will have to be put on hold til after this little one arrives :)**
I'm Molly. I'm 26, married to my best friend & a mom of three beautiful children (Holden will be 4 in spring of '09, Isobel turned 2 this past winter & Mirielle came to us in the fall of '09). We live in the beautiful North West & love it!
I'm a SAHM, an independant beauty consultant & a photographer. I am a Bible-believing Christian, but am not religious. Christ did not come to bring us religion but so that we could have a relationship w/ Him; & so that we might have eternal life w/ Him! Jesus is not about religion, so neither am I. But God's Word IS the truth, & the ONLY truth! And God will receive ALL the glory for my success in weight-loss & health!

Most of my life I have been in the "normal" weight range, but always teetering on the line b/w normal & overweight. I was never an athletic person until I had gained 15 or 20 extra pounds after high school & didn't know how to loose it. Even though that pushed me into becoming active, it also pushed me into unhealthy eating (or lack thereof) habits. I exercised excessively & ate minimally. I lost A LOT of weight, but I was always scared about what was going to happen in the future - health wise & also control wise (I would wonder, "can I keep this up forever, if it doesn't kill me first? What will happen to my body, my weight, if I loose control?"). I wanted to be thin, toned, & fit.... but healthy. Not starving & barely surviving. I wanted to know what it was like to have a healthy relationship w/ food & thrive.
When my husband & I became pregnant w/ our first I was thankfully able to let go. But, my letting go lead to a 60lb weight gain over the course of my pregnancy - which left me w/ 30 lbs to lose after our son was born. You could imagine my struggle w/ a bit of depression over having so much extra weight on my body. Then, joyfully, a 2nd baby was added to the mix, w/ still no clue of how to REALLY eat & keep excessive baby-weight off. This past winter (of 2008) I had enough! I had not fit into my 'healthy' size clothing since 2005!!! Long enough for me...
So begins my journey to a healthy weight; a toned, strong body & a HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP w/ FOOD! Hallelujah!
My only regret right now is that I forgot to take a "before" picture when I started. Ah well! That's OK :)
I started being serious about all this on January 4th (technically). Since then I have gone from 165 lbs to 154 lbs. Pretty much half way there! :D
I'm already feeling great about my body & have noticed a lot of positive changes. I love this! I am ecstatic about reaching my goal weight & can't wait to be there. Time flies... so not much longer now... :)
Just for Starting!: High Five (haha!)
Reach 160 lbs: Applause & Red Ribbon
Reach 150 lbs: Workout clothes & Silver Medal
Reach 140 lbs (goal weight): Finish Line, Gold Medal, New Jeans & a Party!
Reach 135 lbs (my actual post-baby weight): Photo Shoot, Bikini, New Shoes, Megaphone & a Gold Trophy !!!
**Maintain Goal Weight for One Year: Cruise & a New Wardrobe (as long as I have enough points for both)**
(No, you can't go overboard on treating yourself when reaching your goals! :D)
Right now my goal is to loose the extra baby weight & get toned in the meantime. After that I will move to strengthening/toning my body & maintaining my weight as my goals.
I'm exercising w/ some of my favorite fitness DVD's. W/ three young ones at home it is hard to find the time to leave the house w/out them... & our gym is too expensive... & it's yucky winter! Who really wants to go outside right now? So thank God I can create my own in-home fitness regimen. As far as my diet goes, I am concentrating on staying w/in my SP goals & consuming lots of whole grains, whole wheats, fiber & complex carbs - as well as making sure I get at least 8 8oz glasses of H2O each day (I've seen A LOT of positive change since I started making that a goal!).
My husband & I are originally from the east coast, but never want to go back! :)
We will be celebrating our 7th year of marriage this coming July!!!

Congratulations. My little men are as close as your kids. My 2nd and 3rd are only 17 months apart. I love them being so close. It felt weird for my 3rd and 4th to be 2 1/2 almost 3 years apart.
