I originally joined spark people 5 years ago with a goal of losing weight to be able to be more active with my children. I lost 45 pounds and felt great. Then life happened, I lost access to a computer, and I generally fell off the radar.

Flash forward to today. I have gained back the 45 pounds through my own poor choices. Worse, now my cholesterol is creeping up. My Dr. has given me 2 months to lower it or I will have to start taking meds. I DO NOT want to do this. ...

My Dr. has given me 2 months to lower it or I will have to start taking meds. I DO NOT want to do this. Additionally, I am turning 40 this year. I do not want to reach this milestone at my current weight.

With all of this in mind, I reset my page today and am starting over. I am giving myself a do over. I want to take control of my life again - starting by getting my cholesterol back on track. By my next apt, I want to lower my cholesterol enough to remove the threat of needing meds. I would also like to lose 15 pounds by then.
