It starts now

Well here it is, the beginning of June, and I am approaching my 1 year sparkaversary. I am more than a little ashamed to admit that I have been absent from SP for the last 2 months or so. I guess life just got in the way. With my earlier work hours, I simply cannot stay awake late enough in the evenings for my spark time. I need to make a better effort to get back into the swing of taking care of myself. I had been maintaing my weight loss until a few weeks ago. Now I need to lose the 15 ...
Now I need to lose the 15 pounds that I have gained back since then. I WILL NOT LET THIS DETER ME. I WILL GET BACK ON TRACK! I look forward to the day that I can post to all of you that I have lost that first 50 pounds. Until then, I will be readjusting my tracker back up and working on becoming a healthier me...

We recently took our two daughters to Disney. I saw myself in one of the pictures and thought my gosh! When did I gain all of that weight? How did I allow myself to become so heavy? I have decided that starting now, I WILL work to get back to a healthier weight and I WILL be a good role model for my 2 daughters. I am going to be a healthier me, 1 day at a time.

02/19/11 I have been on SP for more than 7 months now. I did not reach my goal of losing 50 pounds in 6 months, but that is OK. I am headed in the right direction, and I got throught the holidays and my Nana's passing without gaining a ton of weight back. The important thing is that I now have the energy to play with my children and to be involved in their lives instead of just watching them! I will get to the 50 pounds lost mark. When I do, I will start working on the additional weight I should lose after that to be at a truly healthy weight.

My Goals:
I want to be able to play chase with my daughters.

I want to be active without feeling aches and pains.

Mid range goal: Lose the remaing 35 pounds needed to reach my 'halfway point' of my goal. I am going to try to do this by my wedding anniversary -Sept 22.

Long term goal: Lose a total of 100 pounds. This would put me at the lowest weight I have been since I was in Jr. high school. I hope to reach this goal by March 2012.

My Program:
I am drinking plenty of water.

Started tracking my calories

I am increasing my cardio minutes
