I AM

Welcome...GREETINGS FROM OCEAN CITY MARYLAND!

My name is Maureen...but you can call me Moe or Mo or Moedancing (something tribal from my past life).
My spirit has been housed by my body for 50 years...FIFTY!...A HALF CENTURY...WOOT!

I am divorced or freed if you prefer (got my get out of jail free card years ago) and a mother to 3 smashing people, Christopher, Dominic and "Principessa" Francesca. They are my reasons for everything.

I was born and raised in beautiful downtown Jersey City New Jersey...what we locals affectionately call New York's Armpit!
A friend of mine invited me to Ocean City about16 years ago and I fell head over heals. I went home put the house onthe market, kicked the hubbie to the curb and headed South.

For those of you that have never been, it is a barrier island on the coast of Maryland. Tourism drives the town but the Ocean defines it. I am so blessed.

I have lived in many places, my mother had a gypsy soul...Bless Her! New Jersey, New York, Colorado, California, Florida, Delaware and Maryland...I would love to make my home on the Big Island but heck that is for next time.

I am a small business owner making my living developing websites with a partner, photographing landscapes, locations and property, along with online marketing of the finished sites.

I have had several (well more than several...quite a lot actually) jobs over the years. From jelly donut pumper (well yes someone does actually have to pump the jelly into the donut) to bartender, from bus driver to union organizer, from a taxi driver in nyc to waitress, real estate agent to well... what I do now. Which i do love...but I am up for Bed and Breakfast Keeper. I did join the merchant marines but when they assigned me to a tug boat in new york harbor I said thanks but "I gotta go now" Wasn't exactly the exotic ports of call I was dreaming of! I am also a closet Carnival Barker...I love to get people to come on down!

I love to dance and dance and dance. I told my children very early on that they would have to be prepared...their mother would embarrass them over and over with all this butt shakin'

My mp3 is part of my appendage with a playlist that is as varied as the voices in my head. As a Jersey Girl My Boss will always be Bruce Springsteen.

I have gained and lost 150 lbs more than once in my life. After a while you just get tired and stop trying. My business has me online quite a lot, always looking at content...don't remember how I came across this site but I was immediately drawn. I have dusted myself off and gotten up again. Piaget wrote of the Concept of Readiness. Well I am Ready.

I consider myself a wealthy women...rich in love and laughter. To those Sparkers that have enriched and blessed me I say Thank You.
