This is s great place with informative articles and a supportive community. I don't track my food here since I had been using My Fitness Pal for a long time. It's easy to use with both web and app so I have no reason not to track everything. for me tracking my food was and is one of the most critical tools in my weight loss and maintenance.
The other one was taking it slow, making small sustainable changes that would get incorporated in my life. If you haven't done so, join one of the challenges here; they are great and you'll get daily tips. There is one for new members and another for making small changes.

I tried to comment on your blog but for some reason I couldn't. So I will comment on here. Welcome back. What did you do before? I always use the trackers and I belong to several teams. That is how I made many new friends on here. SP is a really great site with so many members but I like to share with people who share commonalities i.e. diet I'm doing, age and amount of weight to lose, etc. That would be my suggestion.
