Finishing What I started

About a year ago I joined Biggest Loser Club and had some initial success. I lost 30 lbs but then got distracted and didn't finish my journey. I am here to finish what I started and to continue on my path to being a runner. I completed 6 half marathons last year and hope to do at least the same this year.

Thank you! I'm so glad I got to do it too! And now I know what I can work towards again. :)

Regarding the other blog comment: you are right. I can't live in pain forever and I know I need to take care of this now. The end result will be worth it. I'm starting to see it now.

Thanks for the comment. I wasn't scared of the repeats because I didn't know what I was really in for. Now I know and I'm scared for the next time. I hope I can push myself as hard as she did me last night. I'll have to re-test in 2 weeks and maybe I'll be able to see a little improvement.

It's okay about the shoes. I'm glad I wasn't out the money I spent on them. It's one of the reasons I like buying from that store. I hope you enjoy your trail run today. I'd love to hear how it went. I'd like to try trail running later this year (all things permitting) but this time when I try it, I'll buy a pair of trail shoes. I tried a couple times last year in my regular running shoes and it just didn't work for me. The Saucony rep explained to me the difference between the running and the trail shoes and how they're made.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog, and I think you are right, I do have time to train for a marathon by October of 2011, but I might feel stronger about it if I wait until October 2012 and take my time to build up my endurance in the meantime.
