I´ve finally done it!

After all the work I have finally managed to reach my weight target and I am feeling over the moon. However the journey have just begun! There is still a long journey ahead of me in which I will have to learn how to stop thinking like a fat person and let my mind catch up with my new body.

My nutritionist has ensured me that the next part of the journey it will not be easy but as long I manage to maintain my new weight for at least 6 months the chances for success will increase ...
After all the work I have finally managed to reach my weight target and I am feeling over the moon. However the journey have just begun! There is still a long journey ahead of me in which I will have to learn how to stop thinking like a fat person and let my mind catch up with my new body.

My nutritionist has ensured me that the next part of the journey it will not be easy but as long I manage to maintain my new weight for at least 6 months the chances for success will increase significantly.

The strategies I will apply in the next part of the journey will be:

1. Continue eating as I do now on a daily basis (Veggies, Vegetarian dairy alterntatives, oats and rye, legums, fish, eggs, fruits and nuts) - plan weekly meals on Sunday and shop accordingly. Try a new healthy recipe every week.

2. Continue exercising on a regular basis but adding challenges such as:
- Run SS 10k under 50' - Done!!! Reward: Wallet
- Complete BCN half marathon - 1'47" - Done!! Reward: Necklace
- Do a Super- Sprint Triathlon

3. Do sun salutations every morning.

4. Sleep min 7 hours per day plus pòwer nap when possible.

5. Continue reading motivational cards

6. Practice Marisa Peerr's techniques

7. Monitor weight min once per week - If weight increased higher than 1 kilo up (57.5) will go back to initial stage of the diet.

8. Exceptions:

8.1 When eating out: the increased amount of calories allowed is 25% more app than in a normal meal (Chose before leaving the house if I would have a glass of wine/Carbs or dessert)

8.2 Free meals on special Occasional: My birthday/Christmas/New Years

8.3 Free Meals after races or exercise sessions which last longer than 2 hours.

Goal reward System:

Hi Minieto,
I got off track a bit with my weight loss. I did lose 18 lbs for my 30th birthday, but my goal was 23lbs. I'm back on track now. Eating healthy and going to the gym after work. My weekness used to be cardio, but now I look forward to it after a stressful day of work. I'm an emotional eater, but if I watch the clock and make sure I eat every 2-3 hours, I tend to stay on track.

I wish I had the opportunity like you did, to go abroad and discover yourself.
Go for you, for doing so. It must have been an awesome experience.

Shannon
