I'm almost there....

After being with Spark since January 2007, changing my eating habits & incorporating an exercise program, I am happy with my body and have a great outlook on life! I have the tools & use them & if I gain, I know what to do. My goal now is to lose those last 5-8 lbs and then maintain. That's been the hardest part about my journey is the maintenance but hopefully, this time will be different.

My Goals:
My original goals, to feel better in my "skin" & to want to get dressed in the morning & look forward to it instead of dreading it, has been realized. But now my new pants are a little tight after going off track for several weeks but I know what to do and hopefully it won't as hard as my original weight loss. Now that exercise isn't a dreaded chore but a way of life, that won't be a change. It's just getting the eating part in control.

My Program:
I've always been pretty active & exercise oriented but since I turned 40, it just takes sooo much more work & determination! Since Spark, I've been cooking healthier, got rid of all the junk in my kitchen & replaced it with all "good for you" foods. I've been running about 5 times a week for my cardio plus added weights to my ST. I do some type of cardio 5-6 times a week & ST 3 times a week. Now I just need to recommit to my eating & daily calorie intake.

Personal Information:
I live in MA in a small town surrounded by the ocean. I appreciate my surroundings seeing they are so beautiful. My daughter is a freshman in college so finally getting serious about changing my eating style & changing my body wasn't as difficult as if I lived with her and had to cook & shop for her.

Other Information:
I am a movie lover. LOVE movies, old classic movies & crazy movies no one has ever heard of (i.e. Waiting for Guffman- all time favorite, right up there with The Philadelphia Story!). Also love to read, snow ski & beach it in the summer.

Just read that you are back to WW and that makes this a Happy, Happy Day!!! We've missed you --- but so glad that you're planning to stay in TUNE for the rest of JUNE!!!!! You know the team motto: it's never too late to participate!!!! We also have the exercise challenge going on -- it's called from SEA to SHINING SEA and we're adding our exercise miles together to go across the USA from coast to coast --- it's our summer project to honor the patriotic holidays --join in any time you'd like - stop by now and then - or stay for the duration -- it's all good any "weigh" you look at it!!

Just spreading the spark and dropping by to see how you're doing with this brand new, fresh and fabulous New Year!!!! I'm on the Weight Watcher team and would love to see the team spirit come alive! I started WW in late September and love the points plus program --- it's working very well for me --- just as they say "WW works (if you "work" the program)!!!! I'm still on Christmas break and have had time today to find some recipe sites with WW pts.+ noted -- I posted on the team page a link to a list of these sites --- some I knew about, but others were new to me --- stop by and take a look if you need some new recipes to kick off 2014!
