Taking a step closer to losing wieght for Gastric Sleeve, starting my lifestyle change NOW.

I am happily married to the most wonderful and loving man who has stuck by me through thick and thin (literally). We live in Selma, California and are very involved in our Church and our Youth Soccer League. When my husband is not at work we are inseperatable. We love to travel and take cruises to Mexico. We have been to Mexico twice and look forward to another cruise in the future. My weight hasnt really kept us from traveling but I do feel that when I am thinner I will feel better from my fibromyalgia and I will be able to be more active and more involved in our Soccer League. I have been on this journey for the last 5 years and finally have come to the conclusion that Gastric Sleeve is the best option for my weight loss. I have successfully lost 59 pounds in 5 years, but when I broke my foot I gained some back and had a hard time loosing it, so I started on this journey to surgery. In the last month and a half I have lost 30 pounds and am counting down the days to my surgery. Now my journey continues . . . . . .

My Goals:
To live a healthier lifestyle, be able to be more active with my husband and our Siberian Husky Mya. To be more involved with our Youth Soccer team and league. I would love to be able to jog and play tennis, although having Fibromyalgia I know that will always be a challange but loosing weight will help. I would love one day to be able to jog with my husband and Mya down the Pismo beach shore line. I have an atlete inside of me just screaming to get out, but with this extra weight and my Fibromyalgia I have always been limited to what I can do, if I can eliminate the weight maybe the FM will get a little better and allow me to be the active energetic person I know I am. I CANT WAIT!

My Program:
Eating a High Protien Low Fat, No Sugar or Carb diet, along with a 5 mile Power walk every morning.

Personal Information:
I live in Selma, California with my wonderful husband Marcos and our 5 year old Siberian Husky. We love living in the Central Valley of California because we are just hours away from the sand and the surf or the mountains and the snow. Having such an active and travel happy dog it is nice to have the luxury and ability to pick which way to go, she loves the beach and she loves the snow so we cont loose. We both grew up here and cant see living anywhere else.

Good morning! Today is my second day at home as a stay-at-home-Mom. Have to say it feels good.

Today I am going to go healthy food shopping. I will be finding health recipes for next week, after I am done writing this. Then it will be off to the grocery store.

My next goal for today is looking up what I should take naturally to help me with my health challenges. This will take a couple of days for me. I feel that prescription drugs have too many negative side affects.

And of course, I will be getting ready for our home visit on Tuesday.

    Wishing you a great day.

Surprise, I am writing another note. Just want you to know I am resigning from my job at McDonalds. This torn rotator cup is very painful, also after surgery I will have limited mobility. My doctor feels I need to resign, so I am. It will be a big pressure taken away because the physical demand kept getting more and more.

My daughter is very happy that I am going to be home for the remainder of the summer. To be honest, I am too. The girl who was her babysitter was too immature. Yesterday when I came home, there was ketchup all over my dining room—they had a ketchup fight. My living room, kitchen and dining room looked like I had 20 children mess it up. What a lesson I learned!!!!!!!!

Today I will be doing what I can to clean for our home visit. I am not going to over do it.

After my home visit is done, I am going to start making jewelery. Hope I can go to arts & craft shows, however, that will not be for a while.

Sure hope I can keep up with my weight loss now that I will not be working. Sure would appreciate any information. And, I am very blessed to have you as a Spark friend. I feel my life is much richer knowing you.

Have a day filled with love & joy!!!
