    I found a good article on recovery after a marathon--still applies to a 1/2!! Check it out under my favorites, as I am too impatient to do something as simple as copy and paste a link!

    I like the advice of indulgence with sleep, reading, TV, etc. I can't wait! I told my husband that when I get home, I expect a spa appointment to be waiting for me Monday morning involving an hour long massage, pedicure, etc. I even gave him the phone number to the spa. Do you think he took the hint?

    I'm still recovering after my 16-miler from Friday night. Yikes, it's already Thursday! What am I in for with 26.2?????

    Thanks so much! It really is exhilarating isn't it? You were right about the whole thing and I loved it! I'm very pleased with my time! I was really shocked I'd done so well! Now I'm working on upping my speed a bit for the next race. Running a marathon has actually come to my mind as well when before I thought I'd never even consider it!
