Fitness Minutes: 33

My Goals:
I have been trying off and on to lose weight for years. I am an emotional eater, and I think I've used that as an excuse to overeat. I want to get down to a healthy weight. I know I'll never get back down to the size 5 of my younger days, but I want to feel good again both physically and mentally.

My Program:
I am using the nutrition tracker. It really is an eye opener! Those calories add up fast!! I am a diabetic so I need to watch my sugars. I have an elliptical machine that I plan to use on a daily basis. My son is going to show me some strength training exercises too. Wish me luck!

Personal Information:
I am the grandmother of a beautiful 20 month old girl, Aiyana.She is my biggest inspiration in getting healthy. I want to be here to see her grow up. I have lived in Lake county Illinois all of my life.My husband and I were high school sweethearts and are celebrating 33 years of marriage! I have a son and a daughter, and the best son-in-law one could ever ask for!

Other Information:
I love to read. My favorite author is James Patterson. I also love music of almost any kind. I am the biggest Beatles fan on earth! My favorite Beatle is John Lennon. I believe in everything he stood for. My other passion is the Chicago White Sox, the 2005 World Series Champions!! My family means the world to me and we are all each others' best friend. My baby, my Italian Greyhound Josie, is the most spoiled member of the family! She spoils us just as much, with the love she gives us!

    Need some motivation to get you going with the exercise? Join sparkamerica! It'll keep a running tab of the number of minutes you've worked out! When you are on your start page, you should see a box on the left side that says sparkamerica. Let me know if you have questions!

    Even if you have gained a few still weigh'll keep you focused! Have you looked at your chart of progress? It's a great way to keep you on track. Log those foods! We're back on the trail to a healthier self!
