I am a full time working mom & wife with two small children and a family full of picky eaters. I can't go on a specific diet because the family won't eat it so I count calories instead. I religously work out every day, twice a day, for about 15 to 20 minutes in the morning and at night. Currently I toggly betwenn the Wii Cardio and my Ab Circle Pro. I found out early on that watching what you eat is not enough. You need to exercise also to see any real results. Nothing else has worked for me but Spark sure has. Currenly I have hit a plateau for about the last year and a half. Consistantly staying just over the healthy weight range by 5 to 10 pounds. Any time I get close the scale magically goes up and I have to work it all off again. I look at it like this: It's the anticiaption that keeps you going. My husband was playing a PS3 game and finally got to the 50th level. That was the highest level. Once he hit that level he lost interest in game. He said it wasn't any fun anymore. No more points for his kills no new challenges. I just hope that if someday I hit my goal I don't lose interest in tracking anymore but if I can keep going even after a long plateau like this I sure would think I could continue to always keep my goal weight once I get there (notice I didn't say "if" I get there).

My Goals:
My goal is to be 50 pounds less in about 6 years. I am on the borderline of high blood pressure and I don't want to add an extra pill to my life at this age. I already take enough medication for allergies and thyroid and colon problems. My Doctor says to lose20-30 pounds and that may do it.

My Program:
I watch what I eat. I can't go on a special diet. Eat this or that for your meals and it's usually something I don't like. As long as I keep track of what I eat I can stick to this better than something else. Plus it's easier when I have a whole family to feed.

Personal Information:
My name is Mary,
I'm 46 years old,
I live in southeastern Wisconsin. I am married with two children, a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I have a full time job and I work in accounts receivable. I am on the go from the time I get up to the time I go to bed.

Other Information:
TV is something I rarely watch on my own. I DVR alot and then watch on my own time. Most of the time the kids and DH monopolize the TV anyway. I like to read but only have a chance to read usually while sitting at the doctor's office or if we go on a vacation so my books are always in the car. I am currently reading The Spark. In my spare time...I don't have any spare time but I make time to exercise every day twice a day. Something I had to work my way up to. If I can't do my workouts I get upset.
