If at first you don't succeed...

I've been overweight, I've been thin, I've been lazy, I've been active, I've binged, I've starved, I've eaten healthy, you name it I've done it! I always go back to something my wellness coach told me once...you know what it takes to succeed at being healthy. And I've been healthy, several times. But once again I find myself at a place where I'm unhappy with how I've let myself down. Last summer, I was so thrilled I ran my first 5k and finished just over 30 mins. I was so proud of myself. ...

I always go back to something my wellness coach told me once...you know what it takes to succeed at being healthy. And I've been healthy, several times. But once again I find myself at a place where I'm unhappy with how I've let myself down. Last summer, I was so thrilled I ran my first 5k and finished just over 30 mins. I was so proud of myself. I was around 15lbs from my goal weight and then I found out I was pregnant...AGAIN! I now have 4 BEAUTIFUL boys, none of which I would go back and trade for lbs. But with every pregnancy I come out on the otherside disappointed that I have so much weight to lose and then it seems like it always takes me SO long to get back at it.

So if at first you don't succeed...here I go again. I know that I can do it because I've done it before. Sure I'm a little bit older, and a lot more busier, but hopefully I'm a little bit wiser and a whole lot more determined!!

My Goals:
Update: The bleow goals didn't happen. So let's try losing 10%.

To become a fabulously fit 40 yr old! Even though I have a few yrs to go to get there, by the time I'm 40, healthy choices and fitness will be a huge part of who I am!

Oh and I want to participate in a marathon before I'm 40!

My Program:
"Its all what I put in my mouth", my new mantra. I will watch what goes in my mouth and work hard to make healthy choices.

Do cardio at least 5 times a week for at least 60 min. Add in strength training after I've lost enough weight.

Maybe we would stop beating ourselves up and let ourselves heal everything will just work into place. Well that is my goal for this year anyway.
