One more time

Three years ago I found SP and over the following 9 months, lost 50 pounds. Then I quit - no reason, no excuses, I just quit. I've re-gained all the weight and once again, have settled at 250 pounds being tired most of the time and no energy. I still drink my water but my eating habits are horrible. I really want to get my weight under control so that I have the energy to do the things I love. Starting TODAY, I'm re-starting the program and am going to take baby steps toward that goal. I'm ...

I really want to get my weight under control so that I have the energy to do the things I love. Starting TODAY, I'm re-starting the program and am going to take baby steps toward that goal. I'm making a mini-goal of losing 10 pounds by Dec. 1 - if I lose more, that's just a bonus.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 65-75 pounds - not on any time schedule but would like to see a 1-2 lb loss per week.

Jan. 2011 - At this time I still need to lose about 50 pounds - I CAN do this with SP.

My Program:
Track everything I eat, drink at last 80 oz of water a day, exercise for a minimum of 15 minutes a day. Back to baby steps.

Personal Information:
I am a 47-yo single mom of two teenagers and I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time. Heart disease runs in my family so I really need to get the excess weight off.

Other Information:
I read voraciously - mostly fiction but some non-fiction as well. Enjoy music (primarily classical) and sewing.

"Even if the challenges are immense and the obstacles are many, step forward and live the life you choose to live. Your dreams are worth every effort.
Even if you get knocked down again and again, get right back up and get going. With enough persistence, any goal is within your reach.
Even if you can’t see all the way to the end of the road, go ahead and take the first step. Each time you make some progress, you’ll find new ways to make even more.
Even if your results fall short of your expectations, keep making the effort. Each new day brings you more experience, wisdom and effectiveness.
Even if you’ve been deeply disappointed in the past, focus on the positive possibilities. For your future is what you choose to make it now."
— Ralph Marston

"How do you build up your bank account? By putting something in it everyday.
Your health account is no different. What I do today, I am wearing tomorrow.
If I put inferior foods in my body today, I'm going to be inferior tomorrow, it's that simple."
-Jack La Lanne
