    Thanks for the friendship add...I am always looking for more friends and support.

    I have been on SP since 2007...and have utilized both SP and WW over that time.

    Presently I am just using SP. I was on WW up until about a month ago, when I couldn't afford it anymore. Being that SP is free, I switched back and have been utilizing it.

    I am able to track my food on here and stay consistent, but exercising is another story. But I am working on finding time with a fulltime job and pursuing a master's degree.

    Again welcome to SP and I know you are gonna like it.

    Yes, I have always used almost all of my WPA when on Weight Watchers, generally using a few each day, but sometimes saving them up for a special night out then sticking strictly to my 19 daily points the rest of the week (and boy is that hard to do!) So I guess it evens out somehow -- if I consistently eat between my recommended 1200--1550 calories here at SP, it is probably the same as the way my points lay out over the course of a whole week. Does that sound reasonable?

    No, eating below 1200 calories a day isn't recommended without medical supervision, and if then drastically restricted diets are generally not recommended long term either. I personally eat mid to upper range of my calories here and generally lose good amounts when I do that. Even on WW though, I rarely lost (and even gained) if I only ate my DP's. I always ate all of my weeklies and some of my AP's to see nice and consistent losses. I think they both are good plans, SP is just more user friendly for me and my preferences. Plus I made a lot more friends here and am very active with my local group!
