hi my name is melissa. I still cant believe that i once weighed 320 lbs. i did lose 65 lbs and then i stopped for about seven months and in the amount of time i put back on twenty lbs. i have started up again losing weight. i am not at a seven lbs loss and i am at 268 lbs. :) i am happier to be on this again. took me awhile but i am strong and i know i can do it. :)
i am glad to weigh less than i did when i had my daughter, 274 was what i weighed. :)

My Goals:
I have lost 33 pounds with Spark People. Now I have almost reached my first goal which is to lose 45 pounds. I cant believe it after that its gonna start being maybe a lil bit smaller goals... one day i want to be under 160 lbs. ! wish me luck on my journey. i know i can do it.


My Program:
I am keeping track of what i eat. I am also exercising during my breaks from work. I ride my bike and i have began climbing stairs. Its tough but wow i cant believe the little results iim seeing now.. not just in my appearance but in my exercising ablities as well.



Personal Information:
I just want to change my diet to a healthy one. I have started eating fruit or veges with almost every meal so i get the right amount in there. I have been also giving my daughter the same thing. I want to teach her the right way to stay healthy. If she catches on to these habbits then I have done my Job. LOL. I love her and i just want her to be happy/healthy.


Other Information:
I want to change my life for myself. I also want to have my daughter growing up with a healthy lifestyle. The way I was eating and no exercise is very unhealthy. I want her know how to control her weight if she feels the need to. I do not want to ever pressure her.
