Lose Weight and Rediscover My Life

I graduated from college last spring and felt lost after getting my degree. I moved home this past fall and began to emotionally eat (again) and after five months I have gained 60 pounds. I have struggled with weight issues all my life. The past four years have been especially hard as my weight has been anywhere from 120 to 180 pounds. I have struggled with weight issues all my life. The past four years have been especially hard as my weight has been anywhere from 120 to 180 pounds. My problem is I gain weight easily and once I've gained a little bit I feel like I failed again so I just give up and stop exercising and eating right. After a few months of binge eating and a whole lot of weight gain I realize that I can't live this way and I recommit myself to exercising and eating well.( I THEN PROMISE MYSELF THIS IS THE LAST TIME AND I WILL FINALLY LEARN TO KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF FOR GOOD). I work so hard losing the weight and finally feel happy again (not just happy but downright joyous). Unfortunately before I know it the vicious cycle returns and before I know it I am back binge eating and not exercising. I cant allow this destructive lifestyle to continue. I am determined to lose the weight I've gained and finally figure out a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My Goals:
1) I would like to lose 60 pounds by the end of the summer

2) I want to learn to cook nutritious and delicious meals

3) Gain a positive relationship with food

4) Learn to not binge/compulsively/emotionally eat food when I experience negative emotions

5) Exercise 5-6 times per week

6) Take up yoga and pilates classes

7) run a half marathon

My Program:
I am going to the gym 5-6 times a week and doing 45 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and bike

I hope to be running soon once I lose some of the weight

I am also lifting weights 3 times a week
